Congratulations to our Founder and CEO, Dr. Lorraine Broyls for her service to the community for over 40 years! The City of Chicago commemorated her service and dedication by naming formerly S. Malta St, Dr. Lorraine Broyls Way.

Since 1976, we have led the effort to provide intervention services, and coordinate community services necessary to resolving issues threatening children's lives and the family unit as a whole.

From the beginning it has been UFC’s philosophy that services should be provided in an easily accessible and culturally competent manner, UFC has since developed into an efficient, mid-sized, comprehensive family and community based-service agency.

We offer a wide variety of individual and family counseling, targeted case management, and support services. We provide the community with a comprehensive array of services that include family reunification and stabilization programs, domestic violence prevention and survivor treatment, child abuse prevention and counseling programs , educational and employment programs and various volunteer and training initiatives.
